My name is Vince Feminella. My wife and I have been together since 1970 and we've raised 3 great kids who have given us the most beautiful grandchildren in the world. We all live minutes apart, in central New Jersey, which makes it convenient for us to hang out a lot or lend a helping hand when needed which is really nice.
Currently I work at a major corporation as a senior project leader developing new applications for their Human Resource department. Earlier in my career I wrote trading systems for Wall Street firms, that's where I honed my math skills and interest in formulas and math calculations. My 'www.thescrewybrewer.com' website started out in May 2010 as my 'electronic notebook' a place to store all my brewing notes and related information for quick reference. Today Screwy Brewer and the website promote the benefits of using the Mr. Beer system and provide help and information to thousands of homebrewers who are interested in learning more about our great hobby.
How long have you been brewing?
I've been brewing beer since January 2010 after getting a Mr. Beer Premium Edition kit as a Christmas gift from my wife and daughter.
What is your favorite beer?
My favorite commercial beer right now is Guiness and my favorite Mr. Beer recipe has to be Novocaine, everyone who has tried it raves about how good it tastes including me.
Who would you most like to share a beer with?
I'd like to share a beer or two with Charlie Papazian, author of 'The Complete Joy of Home Brewing', just to get his take on the Homebrewing industry when he first started, where it is today and how he sees it in the future.
