Congrats David Rasmussen!

My name is David "Razz" Rasmussen. I live in Virginia and I enjoy many things. Family, my recording studio, drumming, riding my Harley, showing my classic Corvette, growing peppers and very much enjoy brewing beer.

I have been brewing with Mr. Beer for over 15 years and have never brewed a batch of beer that I didn't enjoy. I think I have brewed every mix that Mr. Beer has to offer. I have had several conversations with the great and friendly brew masters at Mr. Beer and we have bounced several ideas around with great results.

I love Jalapeño peppers, I love beer and thought I'd brew some pepper beer. I only use Jalapenos grown from my garden and have learned to taste each one so I get the right combination of heat and flavor. It has turned out to be a favorite of mine and everyone who has had the pleasure of consuming a bottle. Even people that aren't crazy about jalapeño peppers (there can't be many of those) love this brew. I have been introduced to
friends of friends and the first thing they say is "I've heard about your beer." There is nothing more flattering than people talking about your personal brews. I have even brewed Habanero beer (hot, but good). It's just so easy to be creative with this system.

My hero has always been my dad and I have the pleasure of sharing my brews with him each time I go to visit. But if I had the chance, I'd love to share a beer with "Mutt" Lange, the legendary music producer of AC/DC, Def Leppard, Shania Twain and numerous others. So if your listening, Mutt, my beer is always cold and my mugs are always frosty.

There are so many great beers to brew. You can do something as small as adding some crushed coriander seed to your wheat beer for a wonderful added flavor. Or add some orange or lemon juice to the mix. The flavor combinations are limitless and fun to drink so brew on my beer loving friends!
