Churchill's Brown Ale

I'd rank this as very similiar but definitely a slight step above the Oktoberfest refill and the Bewitched Amber Ale refill. Pours a dark, dark brown with very little head. Smell is primarily a slightly sweet, toasted barley/malt aroma. Taste is very solid -- robust, malty, slight hints of chocolate/caramel/hazelnut, but mostly this is a pretty standard flavorful brown ale. Would go great with a burger. I added 5ml of Peanut Butter brewer's extract to 16oz Mr. Beer PET bottles when bottling and these came out really well if you're looking for something with more of a "nut" taste to it.  ***I'd say when conditioned between 4 & 8 weeks, this is very good, but it REALLY tasted good after 8 weeks of conditioning***

I'm very excited for all the different recipes I will be doing for our fall/winter beers with this refill. Maple Pecan Brown Ale, anyone? Stay tuned.... ;)

Sounds awesome.  I'm planning to reorder around Labor Day so hopefully the recipes come out before then!
