I have carbonated and conditioned my first batch of CAL and now I am ready for the three day refrigeration time.  My question is, can I just put it on ice in a cooler instead of the refrigerator?  I have an ice machine so there is unlimited ice and I always keep a cooler full of ice cold beer. :-)

The beer does not care how you refrigerate it.  Keep in mind that the proper way to serve homebrew is from a glass, gently poured so as to not disturb the layer of trub at the bottom of the bottle.  You don't want to have to keep pulling bottles out, reloading ice, and putting bottles back as that will also disturb the trub.
