1) I've learned that brewing beer is easier than I ever thought. I'm now kicking myself in the ass I haven't started sooner 2) I've learned, through reading these forums, that researching, taking your time on brew day, proper sanitation and temperature control during fermentation is the key to great tasting beer. 3) I've learned to actually enjoy the beer that I brew, takes notes on how it tastes and try to come up with ways to improve for future batches. 4) I've learned there is a wealth of information from the folks in this forum and that it's OK to ask questions, stupid at times I'll admit, if I don't understand something. Everyone here has the goal of brewing better beer and they will not steer you wrong. Sláinte my friends.
