  1. Thanks for all the replies. I guess I will just throw it out and chalk it up to a lesson learned. I already have a new order on the way. Thanks.
  2. I don't have a hydrometer and I have no idea what "groth" is. When I bottled it yesterday I took a taste and it basically tasted like flat strong beer. It didn't taste the greatest but I have no idea what it is supposed to taste like but it was not like guinness. I'm worried it's just moldy stagnant swamp water. Lol
  3. I am willing to wait and try it as long as it won't cause me to get sick.
  4. Hello community. I brewed my second batch a couple weeks ago and I was a bit absent minded while doing it. When I got to the point of pouring the booster in the water I reached over and poured the yeast packet into it. I know I probably should have stopped then and purchased some more yeast but I didn't. I continued the process. Now I know the boiling most likely killed the yeast and no fermentation occurred, am I correct? Should I just dump it all or will it be ok? Thanks in advance for the answers. Btw it was batch of Irish stout to be ready for St. Patricks day.
