  1. Being my first stout and have a few questions this will be my 3rd MB brew and want this to gome out good! My first question is do i need to use a certain type of oats? Second, is it better to boil the oats by themselves or in the wort like the instructions say? And last, I was thinking of making this a chocolate oatmeal stout - what type of chocolate would I use - or is this a bad idea and I shoud just stick to the oatmeal stout. Really looking forward to this one so any help is greatly appreciated!
  2. I am going to be brewing my 5th beer this weekend a Victorian English Bitter and I want to try to give it a little extra flavor to it. So any suggestions on what would be good to use with this type of beer as an addition?
  3. I have a batch of first pitch pilsner that has been fermenting for about a week I was thinking of maybe adding some lime or orange flavoring to it. What would be the best way to go about this?
  4. I am bottling a Mad Dog IPA and Ol' St. Nick's Midnight Ale and I am using 12oz. glass bottles and priming sugar instead of table sugar. My question is, do I use a different amount of priming sugar or would it be the same amount as I would use with the table sugar?
  5. It is the American Blonde Ale. It fermented for 2 weeks. Thanks for the help.
  6. This is my first homebrew and i pretty excited to try it!! :gulp: Just have one question. Would it be alright to to try a bottle after one week or is it best to let it carbonate longer?
