  1. That is a thing of beauty. Congrats.
  2. I bought six cans of UME from them and the shipping took awhile. Lucky I didn't need them for any planned current brews.
  3. You should be fine since you added the correct amount of water later.
  4. I drank a trub bottle last night that was bottled on 11/4/12 and it was good. A little maltier than I like but good. My son who likes maltier beer was happy with the taste and wants a sixer to take back to college with him on Sunday.
  5. Shouldn't be a problem. Hopefully you didn't shake the LBK too much.

  7. Thanks. Need the recipes too.

Seems like I'm getting more beer that way, too, getting 2 glasses of beer out of a bottle instead of just one glass of beer. Just another weird quirk. Feels better to have the beer staying fresher in the sealed bottle than in the glass, even for 5 or 10 minutes, and sometimes I let a glass of beer sit much longer. This post is actually on the level, not joking around. I'm gonna try this out in the near future and see how it works. The fast chill thing proved to be very effective for those times when you need a cold one right away but don't have one. I hope this thing works good too. Ok, I see. I only bottle 12 oz so one pour per glass. It sounds like your plan would work.
  9. Umm I don't know. I always enjoy reading your posts and am left wondering if you are joking with this post. It can't hurt the beer to keep it on ice. I always pour the whole bottle, less a tiny bit on the bottom, into a pint glass so I wouldn't try your idea. RDWHAHB.
  10. $20 for a two pack with one Classic Anerican Light and one Patriot Lager.
  11. I'm thinking of brewing the Classic American Light and a pound of Golden Light DME along with a hop boil. Any hops suggestions? I have two 1/2 oz MRB packages at home but can't remember what type. I appreciate your thoughts.
  12. Thanks for all the comments. Keep them coming.
