  1. Beer brewing I'm good....social groups, not so much. My bad
  2. It did help.....next batch of beer was amazing and no extra carbonation. Thanks
  3. All is well now...Trub in the bottom frothy bubbles and yeasty goodness on top. Thanks all.
  4. Yes a smack pack. I waited 24 hours and it was like still water in there. Hope it turns out ok. Thanks for all of the replies. I just want beer lol
  5. Well sorry you got pissed. I asked nicely.. Explained my position and then was berated instead of helped. His snappy ego filled response and air of elitism turned me off to this forum. I have since moved on from mr beer and am brewing regularly between deployments. Thanks for all of the people who had positive responses
  6. So I was brewing and activated my yeast never making wort. About three hours later I got called into work overnight. My wife put the yeast in the fridge. Next day I made wort and took the yeast out of the fridge. Long story short it has no activity in the keg. So.... I dropped in a packet of dry yeast. Am I screwed?
  7. Thanks for all of the responses!! Now that I look back on it I might have used too much sugar. I'll lay off a bit on the next batch. I've been pretty good about not drinking from the bottle and learned a thing or two about leaving alittle left in the bottle from this forum. Once again much appreciation for all of the positive help.
  8. I meant to post once on this thread and once on another. No need to get pissy with the response. I'm just excited. Ps you didn't give me a answer other than you don't like how much I posted.
  9. The most recent brew I have brewed was and old uncle Arnold without the 1 Can West Coast Pale Ale HME. Everyone loved it but they were all saying that they are bait gassy... I.e they burp a lot. Is this a carb problem? If so or if not how do I fix this. Is was perfect other than that.

  11. The only complaint is that everyone seems to be a bit gassy. Burping a lot. Is this a carbonation issue. The all love it so I would like to find a remedy for that situation
  12. Whatever it was, people are begging for more. I've got some in the fermenter right now! Brewing... Gotta love it!!! I'm hooked. Fact!
  13. A couple of months ago I brewed a batch of old uncle Arnold and forgot the West coast pale ale. So....I thought I screwed it all to hell. Here's the deal, it came out amazing. Most people that have tried it say it's one of the best beers they have ever had. I let a local brewmaster try it and he was more than impressed. When I told him it was made in a mr beer he called bullshit. He still doesn't believe me! If you get a chance screw up this recipe yourself. It's definitely worth it[map][/map]
