Born in Ohio. Raised in Texas. Live in New Mexico. Drive a pickup.
Retired ASS/ISH/ECI/SHD and love to work wood, hunt (Elk!!), fish, and reload for all my rifles and pistols. Currently handloading in rifle: .223, 22-250, 25-06, 260 Rem, 300 Savage, 30-30, 30-06, 35 Rem, 44 magnum. And in pistol: 9mm, 38 special/.375 Mag, and .40 S&W. Woodworking has been a passion of mine since I was a teenager and I hope soon to build a 30x40 shop and move out of our 2-car garage.
Now I'm in to brewing beer. So far I have brewed 1 Mr Beer batch American Lager (didn't turn out as well as I wanted but is nicely "drinkeable"). I'm right now fermenting Mr Beer's 1776 Ale and have ordered That Voodoo That You Do. However, my next brew will be an all-grain, in a gallon jug, batch of English Pale Ale.
My bottle preferences are Sam Adams Boston Lager (and their winter and summer variety packs), and Coors Banquet. Some international beers I like are Guiness, Harp, Tecate, some Dos Equis but not all, Paulaner, St. Pauli Girl, Grolsch (sorry to see it go) and a few others. ANY of the micro-brews are good from the tap. Mike's Hard Lemonade is great outdoors in hot summer weather.
Ok, enough of this drivel. Thanks for having me.
