@MRB Josh RI am brewing the Mr Beer Wild Wheat Recipe. In the instructions it says to add the yeast from *both* the American Ale (Std Mr Beer Yeast) and Bavarian Wheat (wheat beer yeast). https://www.mrbeer.com/wild-wheat-recipe I have followed the recipe. Is it correct to add both yeasts? If not, and I have already added both yeasts, what temperature should I keep the fermenting LBK at? I get excited when I see Mr. Beer create new recipes to sell to us! Fun stuff to try! I am curious - how does Mr. Beer develop new recipes? Do these come over from Cooper's? Is there a Mr. Beer test kitchen in Arizona? And then how do you decide when to retire a recipe? Ingredient availability? A perceived flaw? Do you shoot to have X number of new recipes per year? Any thoughts to share @MRB Josh B, @MRB Josh R, @MRB Rick, @MRB Tim would be greatly appreciated!
Got my MB kit today. Super excited to get started! I think Sunday will be the day I start brewing. Found a Coleman cooler I had that's the perfect size, and I can store it at the bottom of my pantry PROPPED UP! Fits like a glove :-)
