Octoberfest-Wheat?

Ok going to brew tomorrow.. input please.. first time putting together a recipe..Qbrew it (if I did it right ) it should be Ok

MBB-Oct.Vienna HME
MRB-Golden Wheat UME
1 Booster
Saf WB-06
1/2oz Perle hops

Notes
Pinch 1/2 pack of Saf WB-06 (about 5.8g)
Can I hop boil half pack of the Perle to add more of the hop favor?(Should I?)Not sure how these hops taste? And dry hop the rest for aroma?

Any ideas/comments?

I think Perle would work well in that. Boil it with water and half a can of the UME. Toss the rest in the fermenter naked. I think you've got a good mix there.

What do you want from them? Longer boils bring out more bitterness. Medium length boils are for flavor. Short boils are for aroma.

The usual approach is to toss 1/3 in for 60 minutes (bitterness), 1/3 for 20 minutes (flavor), 1/3 for 7 minutes (aroma). I've taken a short cut and done 1/2 for 30 minutes (flavor and bitterness) and 1/2 for 10-15 minutes (aroma and flavor).

Here's a chart that will help you understand what different boil times will do.

OVL & GW makes a great combination. Personally I wouldn't boil the hops, but I like a maltier flavor.

looking for favor...so I'm going to boil 1/2 the pack (of a 1/2 oz pack) and dry hop the rest.
