+1 HairOdaDog Central Jersey Coast . The A-hole bennies and MTV have tainted the words "Jersey Shore" probably forever. The area is still as awesome as it has always been for we who live here but I think we need a new moniker.

Hang in there!

You have a pretty nice LHBS in Dayton, Ohio. I was there a couple of weeks ago. Attached to LHBS is nice liquor store with a ton of different beers. Think it was called Belmont Party Supply.

My whole Mom's side of the family is from the Cedar Rapids area. Namely, Cedar Rapids, Springville, and Mt. Vernon. My Uncle coached football for a very long time at Cornell College in Mt. Vernon.

The Hawkeyes are my 2nd favorite football team :)

Is Jimmy's still open on Farmington Road? There were a couple of bigger, more popular places closer to Bradley Park, but Jimmy's was right down the road from me and it was also a big hangout for alumni from my high school (Spalding, which no longer exists).

There are a few of us. Occasionally see some people in Chiefs gear or a sticker on a car. Actually saw one today.

How is Free State Brewery these days? Was my main hangout during college. Haven't been there in probably 6 or 7 years.

For those that are good at doing a search, someone had a MAP location for everyone. You just plugged in your location, and it showed up.

Very cool. The Coe vs Cornell game is always a big rivalry. Had a nephew that played at Coe and many friends that went to Cornell. VaTech has a good program too. Always like seeing them do well.

Small world. I'm originally from Lowden, so very familiar with Grand Mound (chased a few girls there...). Lot's of good baseball used to be played there and up in the Zwingle, Balltown, Farley area. Not many people outside of the area know about those places though.

There is only one person on the Jersey Shore show that is actually from Jersey and she is from Hazlet. So..she is south of the bridge and she belongs to all of you down there :)

I am in northern New Jersey where the "bennies" come from.

Living the last 10 years in San Tan Valley AZ, formerly a part of Queen Creek AZ, south of Mesa/Phoenix metro.

I'm originally from Vernon Center MN, pop. 500, just south of Mankato, south central MN.

The 10 years I spent in the Army sent me all over the place in-between the MN and AZ time frame.

Wetumpka, Alabama

One of two states, Mississippi, that it is illegal to homebrew. About 7,000 of us in the state. House passed last year, senate never voted on it. Comes up again this year. Just plain stupid. Southern morals, yea right.
