what refills, recipes or ingredients?

what mr beer refills, recipes or ingredients, would make a beer close to the big name company beers. ie: bud,coors ect...? thanks

I think just about anything you made from MB is going to be considerably better than something from the big 3. Probably the high country canadian draft hme with either booster (I know bud uses rice as part of its grain bill, so booster couldn't be too much worse) or a pale extract ume. This will get you a similar style, but probably much better taste (especially if you use the ume, it will give substaintially more body than a Bud or coors). The hops in the hme are probably enough to replicate that kind of style without addition. Fermenting that in the mid 60s with the MB yeast might get you kind of close. I'm just not sure why you want to replicate them. A 24 pack of domestic isn't much more expensive than the ingredients you'd need and you can have it now.

I did a HCCD with 1lb of LDME, it was a good middle-of-the-road beer.
Kind of like a Miller, but better (IMHO).
