OG was 1.060. 4:00 am this morning has a good 2 in of foam on top. when I got home from work @ 415 pm checked my sample it was at 1.050. Plane on leting this ferment for 21 days . anyone think I should tranfer to secondary after 7 days?
Kealia 3 Posted March 15, 2011 Nope. Unless you are moving it for an extended period of time to dry-hop, add fruit, etc. I don't see any reason to use a secondary.Ferment, cold crash and bottle.
FedoraDave 4 Posted March 16, 2011 I agree. Cold crashing would do the job of settling out any floaties.
