American Blonde Ale

Recommended Posts

My first brew is American Blonde Ale. I have this sitting in my pantry and the temperture fluctuates from 74-78. Am I in trouble with this batch?

I have the second batch fermenting in my closet just not sure my wife is going to bye off on it being in there.

If you have a cooler/ice chest put your keg in with some ice packs until the wort is in the mid 60* range. Once there close the lid and it should stay within a couple of degrees. Do you have a Brew-o-Meter on the side of you keg? If not you might order one or get a stick on from Wally World or your LHBS.

If your wort is the same temp as your pantry, you are at the top range, but not out of it. You should be OK.
