marblejones 0 Posted October 20, 2011 Anyone ever leave a brew in the fermenter for 4 weeks?

marblejones 0 Posted October 20, 2011 Ok thanks. The temperture has been good the whole time its not that I just let it sit there. I changed the ice packs still twice everyday. So that is good news.
Guest System Admin Posted October 20, 2011 I believe one guy here forgot one and was in LBK for 5 or 6 weeks and he said could not tell the difference from the same beer he made later.
GWCR 0 Posted October 20, 2011 Purposely left mine in LBK for 5 weeks while working to fix a stuck fermentation. Perfectly fine.
Screwy Brewer 61 Posted October 20, 2011 I get too impatient to wait that long anymore for Ales.

marblejones 0 Posted October 21, 2011 I use the big styrofoam coolers from Walmart and I can put 1 big blue ice pack in the morning and it will hold my temperture between 64-68 for 24 hours.
