I went to the store today noticing that a lot of you guys and gals use oxi-clean free for cleaning the LBK i thought it was a yellow top to the tub but what I saw today was a green top to it is that alright or no

Thanks again and Happy Brewing

That's what mine is, as long as it says it is free of perfume, dyes, and chlorine, you'll be okay.

The green lid is the one you want. The yellow lid is the scented kind.

I think that soaps are much harder to rinse free of film. I never let dishes drain and air dry because of that "slippery" kind of feeling.

+1, when it comes to it a "detergent" type cleaner will rinse much better. I know one of my actual favorites due to it's disinfectant qualities is iodine. It can get a little pricey, but I think the importance of sterility is understated.

Bacteria can really eff you up, and I dont want dawn in my beer.
