Are they?
I took a look at the Cooper's site to see how the HME offerings were similar to the new Mr. Beer HMEs. One can easily see that some of the new Mr. Beer HMEs are rebranded from the Cooper's HMEs. So, are new Mr. Beer HMEs that retained their old Mr. Beer name really the old Mr. Beer recipes or are they also rebranded Cooper's?

The new cans are just rebranded Cooper's kits designed to make the company 50% more at the customer's expense.

This is NOT Mr. Beers fault, it is the new owner Copper's doing.

DIane and the rest are just doing the best they can with what they are given

I have noticed that they've kept the price down on ONE of their refills so they can still say 'starting at' $15.95.
All good things come to an end...

I can't say that the new MB are just smaller re-branded Coopers products since I haven't bought one yet, but they sure do look like it.

2 gallons of Mexican Cerveza for $17.95 (+ shipping)

6 gallons of Mexican Cerveza for $22.84 (inc shipping)

Both Coopers products...

Something doesn't add up. Must be the division by 0.

you guys are way too smart for a bunch of alcoholics.

:chow:

As previously pointed out on this Borg a while back (sorry I can't recall by who), alcohol kills brain cells, starting with the weakest ones first. That means that while an average person's brain is full of both strong and weak brain cells, an alcoholic's brain is constantly getting rid of the weaker brain cells thereby leaving a greater concentration of strong brain cells. This is very similar to the ex-foliation process that women use to keep their skin so healthy. The only reason I was able to grasp this concept is because I'm an alcoholic.
