How much stirring when adding Fruit?

Recommended Posts

So I have had a Classic American Lager batch fermenting for 1 week and I am going to add Strawberries to it. My question is, do I just pour in my puree of fruit or do I need to stir it in? Do I stir gently or do I stir vigorously to get more (new) air into the mix? Thanks.

just make sure that everything that comes in contact with the wort the blender that you used to puree the fruit has been sanitized and then just pour the stuff in the the lbk and close it up you should be done pouring into the lbk and the top screwed back on in under a minute.

so no, DO NOT STIR.

oh.....welcome to the borg don't forget to keep a log (notebook)

Pour it in quickly and with purpose, but without splashing.
