new brew question

Just brewed my first beer, whats the average lenght and the best results to do this , 2/3 weeks in LBK  then do i need to refrigerate before i bottle it  or once the 2/3 weeks is done bottle it then refrigerate  heard a few different techniqes like a 2/2/2 process not sure in what order they meant ,, ant help would be greatly appreciated

Asked many times, including earlier today. See "The Right Way To Brew" post in my sig.

3 weeks fermenting, 4 weeks bottles at room temp. Cold crashing for 3 days in between solidifies the trub so you can eek out more beer.

2-3 weeks in the fermenter is the normal target.  Then bottle and leave the bottles at room temp for 4 weeks or so before the fridge.

 

2/2/2 refers to 2 in the fermenter, 2 in the bottle to carb at room temp, 2 in the bottle to condition at room temp.  So...  essentially 4 weeks in the bottle at room temp.

 

I highly recommend reading the Dag's Simple Guide Line post.  It's a great starting point to answer your questions as you start out.
