Punkin Lager

So I am about to brew a batch of Punkin Lager for the first time for Halloween. The directions are a bit unclear.

add 1 Tbsp. Mulling Spices tied within the hop sack with excess material removed

 

It never states when the hop sack should be removed. Should I leave it in during the entire fermentation process? Or do I take it our just ahead of adding the yeast? If so, how long should I let it steep before removing?

I haven't made this recipe yet, but I'm guessing that you leave the mulling spices in the LBK for the duration of the fermentation.  Good luck!?

Yes, it will stay in during the entire fermentation period.
