Recommended Posts

Question. my PET bottles go to full carb way faster than my glass bottles. I know i have a good seal on the glass...........what would cause that?

Try this experiment: Batch prime, and then fill several PET bottles and then some glass. Try to get them as close in size as reasonable, with an equal amount of air "head space". Let them sit in the same location while carbonating/conditioning, then place them at the same time in the same area of the fridge. Pour into two of the same type glasses. My bet is that the level of carbonation will be exactly the same.

Gophers - must be the secret snake oil that you add to you brew. Makes glass bullet proof, and plastic flexible. Has a similar affect on the human body, but the jury is out on which body parts  :D
