Light Brown Sugar for Nilla Porter Recipe

Think subbing light brown sugar for dark brown sugar for the Nilla Porter recipe will make much of a difference?

Did it!  Actually tried all three: dark, light brown, and white.  Personally I liked the one with the LBS the best!  Subtle background flavor of molasses.  I like molasses and this was the right amount for me.  Good luck, Kev!

I'm actually doing it without the LME so I know it won't be as robust, but still looking forward to trying it.

I quit using brown sugar a few years ago. Seemed like it was giving my beer a funky twang.
