velvet Elvis recipe

Recommended Posts

I've been eyeballing the velvet Elvis recipe,, sounds really good to me,,and if I did my reading correctly to really bring out the banana flavor or esters I should ferment this a little warmer then I normally would,, closer to the 70s range... Anyone try this recipe, any input is always appreciated,,thanx all.. ? ??

1 st Patrick day stout

1 Bavarian wheat

4 ounces cocoa nibs boiled five mins

safale -06 wheat yeast

maybe 4 ounces of lactose sugar

ferment three weeks at 72 to bring out banana esters
