Just Brewed Calavera Chile Spice Stout

On recco of @MRB Josh R bought and brewed a Calvera Chile Stout.  My wife likes to make Mole so we had chiles on hand.  Should be nicely conditioned for day of the dead 2017!  Showing pic of cocoa nibs and Chile peppers prior to addition to the mash.

I really like this beer.  I used one dried ancho chile when I made it.  Next time I'll use two as the chile was a little too subtle.  Regardless, it's very tasty/

Thanks @Shrike!  I blew it though by not adding water to the LBK after adding the wort and pitching the yeast.

 

Any thoughts on whether I should add water 18 hours into the batch and if so, how?

 

If I am adding water, perhaps I could / should take the opportunity to add another chile in a muslin sack.
