13 days and going strong...

Recommended Posts

Let It Bee Honey Blonde Ale is 2 weeks in, and still quite active! Little bubbles are rising almost non-stop. But, I pitched really cool, so it took a few days to really take off. I guess its just playing catch up now.

Lag time can vary greatly between different brews. I would let this one go the full three weeks, even if the hydrometer says it is done.

Ohhh...I just bottled this one. While I know that it's not indicative, the ferment just before bottling was quite delicious. epete28, let's compare tastings in 2 or 3 months. All in all I'm planning this one as a summer drink.

I just took a reading off of this batch, 1.009. I'm gonna call it done, at 5.38% abv. This is day 19 now I think. I'll let the temp come up the next couple days, then crash it.

Right at 6 weeks conditioning on this batch now, and I haven't tried a single one of them. I'm really curious now, I think a couple will find their way into the fridge soon.
