Sticky Wicket...

Just cracked a sampler of the SW...added 1/2 lb flaked oats, 1/2 lb 2 row (mashed), 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 1/4 lb maltodextrin. OUTSTANDING! Of the 14 batches I've made so far, the 2 stouts are the best. A few more months conditioning and this will be fantastic.

I bet the extra malt really helped out, as will more conditioning. I did a batch of SW, and when it was young thought it had an odd beef jerky or soy sauce hint to it (wierd). Now that it is close to 2 months in the bottle, it taste pretty good. I may have to "borrow" your tweaks if I make it again.
