Im brewing Big Ed's Red....and upon sprinkling the yeast into the keg...for some reason I stirred it within abt 10 seconds instead of letting it sit for 5 min......just woondering If I've doomed this batch to the drain?

Nah. Go ahead and give it another good stir. That 5 min wait time is to allow the yeast to rehydrate. I hydrate mine in a seperate glass anyway, with a wee bit of yeast food. then I just pour it in, and give it a stir. You'll be Ok. :stout:

Agreed. That's a good one.

Just remember that they give their lives to make your beer. Have a moment of silence for the little buggers.

I'll try. But I might have a problem feeling sorry for something that Pharts itself to death.. (funny how that loving wife of mine has some empathy for them once I said this)

they still use that old school shite? That's almost as bad as having the M-49. Figured they'd replace the M-60 with the SAW. silly me. Have you played with the 6.5 mm yet?

Sweet! I served with 4-101 159 AVN as a door gunner gunner on UH-60's for my first tour in Iraq in 05-06. We had M240's though. It was blast flying everywhere. But I am happy being a hobbit most of the time since I changed MOS'S to a 21P, though we do have to travel some. I do wish I could go to flight school though, bad knee keeps me from going flight.

What is a 21P? I was a 15T/68F. I got to shoot the M240 nice weapon, hitting targets out to 1200 yards spot on! Sorry to hear about flight school. I joined the Alaska Army National Guard(after 4 years in the Marine Corps) too late for flight school(too old)

21P is a Prime Power Specialist. I am a power plant operator/medium voltage electrician. But we do basically anything electrical related that the US Army Corps of Engineers wants us to do. We also travel to natural disaster areas that have power outages and work with FEMA to get backup power generation to critical facilities.
