Turkey Fryers

Recommended Posts

Have any of you fellow brewers ever tried to brew in a turkey fryer. I noticed a set up at Sams Club for appx $70. Seems to me that this might
be a good answer to 5 gallon boils. Thanks for your attention. TonyK

TonyK, a lot of us have been eyeing that, or simular, kind of set up. I'm hard put to say it wouldn't be a good thing. I am seriously thinking of going that way myself.

That is the way to go for 5gal batches. Full boils are in my opinion the only way to go.

Partial boils have too many issues.

That's what I do with my 5 gallon batches I love it. I won't do a 5 gallon batch with out my turkey fryer.

Totally the way to go. You can buy the burner for $39 on Amazon, and you can find a pretty good Bayou Classic pot for pretty cheap. Not to mention free shipping. I would check Amazon, you may be able to save quite a bit of coin. The also sell the turkey fryer kits.

I also recommend doing full boils.
